Courthouse Safety Committee
It is the policy of the Coos County Board of Commissioners to protect the safety and health of their employees. Coos County Public Works, Sheriff's Office, Coos Health & Wellness, the Courthouse and the Central Safety Committee's have been established to ensure a safe and healthful work environment across the County. All of our Safety Committee's are responsible for identifying, addressing, and mitigating workplace hazards, promoting a healthy safety culture, and ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulations.
The Courthouse Safety Committee meets monthly (on the 3rd Wednesday) to discuss workplace heath or safety concerns and review/analyze monthly hazard inspections. If you or someone you know is interesting in attending one of our meetings or becoming a Safety Committee Member, please email us at safety@co.coos.or.us .
