After you apply online, you will both come to our office to sign and pay for the license.
The date that you pay for the license is the date that the waiting period starts.
*Valid ID is required*
Hours: Monday - Friday: 9:00 - 11:30 and 1:00 - 3:30
*NO EXCEPTIONS*
Fees: $60 IN CASH
Waiting Period: There is a full 3 day waiting period from the date the license is issued before it can be used.

Age Requirement: The legal age for marriage in the State of Oregon is 18
Marriage licenses can be purchased from any County in Oregon and be used in any County in Oregon.
If you have special circumstances and need to request a waiver of the 3-day waiting period, please email the County Clerk @ coosclerk@co.coos.or.us
There is an additional $25.00 fee for a waiver.
The marriage license is valid for 60 days from the effective date.
