Community Justice
The Coos County Community Justice Department is committed to enhancing public safety while promoting positive change through evidence-based supervision, accountability, and rehabilitation. Serving both adult and juvenile populations, our department partners with the courts, law enforcement, treatment providers, victims, and community organizations to reduce recidivism and strengthen our communities. Guided by the core values of honesty, integrity, respect, and accountability, our dedicated professionals strive to build trust, make fair and informed decisions, and treat every individual with dignity while holding them accountable for their actions.
Through professional case management, risk and needs assessments, cognitive-behavioral interventions, community service, treatment referrals, and meaningful offender accountability, we help individuals make lasting behavioral changes while supporting safer neighborhoods throughout Coos County.
We are committed to providing quality public service with professionalism, transparency, and compassion while balancing community protection with opportunities for rehabilitation.
