Positions currently open:

  1. Brief Crisis Team - Provides much of the focused counseling and therapy services for adults within our organization.  Also serves as the intake group for individuals needing specialized interventions from other teams within Coos Health & Wellness. Rotates some time through a walk-in clinic for crisis and one-time interventions.  Excellent opportunity to broaden and hone clinical skills for new and developing clinicians.
  2. The Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACT) is an evidence based practice designed to provide comprehensive treatment and support services to individuals who are diagnosed with serious mental illness.  ACT services are provided by a multidisciplinary team to maximize independence and community integration. 
  3. Youth Team - IIBHT/MRSS.  Provides an array of behavioral health services to children, young adults, and families in the Intensive In-home Behavioral health treatment program and the Mobile Response Stabilization Services programs. Looking for candidates comfortable working within a team-based environment with a smaller caseload utilizing community based and non-traditional approaches.
  4. Childrens/Youth Team - Provides mental health services to children/adolescents.  includes individual and family therapy, coordinating service plans with involved family, caregivers, medical, psychiatric and other providers.  Seeking motivated candidate to provide individualized care to youth and families with more complex needs. 
  5. School-Based Therapist (two positions open).  Provides mental health services in a school setting.  This position follows the calendar year with school breaks (summers off).  Position pays 83.32% of the regular MH Specialist II salary, but is paid 12 months a year and receives full time health insurance benefits. 

Salary range: $69,792 –$81,636 per year plus extra for having an Oregon license.  We also pay 6% of salary into a retirement account.  

Must be a qualified mental health professional or eligible; Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or other mental health related field; or Bachelors in Nursing or occupational therapy with license and experience. Must pass a criminal background check per state requirements.
