The Coos County Community Development office has an immediate opening in their Planning division. There is only one position open; however, they will consider hiring for the opening at either an Associate Planner, Principal Planner, or Planner I position, depending on the selected applicant's experience, qualifications, etc.
The Associate Planner position provides a variety of customer services duties reviewing and processing applications for land use development and planning projects. The Principal Planner position takes more of a lead role in managing the planning program and performing experienced professional and technical work. The Planner 1 position provides over the county information to the public on general and specialized land use related tasks under the County's comprehensive plan.
The Community Development office is located in Coquille, Oregon.
